Why busting the Happy Gardener is so Wrong
Is there a police force in the world braver than the NZ Police force? I doubt it. After masterminding a propaganda campaign of the highest degree of sophistication (marijuana growers are better are growing than they were in the 1960s and so the threat is worse) that was picked up as #1 story by every media outlet in the country, the thick blue thin busted a gardening chain.
But did the police go after the highly armed gardeners that wander about in public? I saw some gardeners with city council uniforms on in the park, loitering around with horrific instruments of murder, such as rakes, spades, and weeders. Yet the police allow them to intimidate and taunt members of the public. They have even been able to extort the city into paying themselves. And the bravery of the thic line runs blue.
So watching this Aussie TV program “Underbelly” the bust of these small time pot growers makes sense. Just like the Aussie cops in King’s Cross, the NZ police are on the take. They need to bust the competition so that their armed dangerous mob can completely control gardening.
In any case, given that gangs and organized crime, which is what they were so concerned about when they busted me, will get more power with the incarceration and destruction of the small time grower, why would the police be so proactive?
OK, get back to reality 2112. What if the police are relatively innocent and are simply tools of the new National government’s fascist arm? Just put people in jail, for the votes. Put pressure on the small independent growers.
It leads to the same conclusion. The bust of honest men and woman is to effectively subsidize those big ugly illegal growers, the dangerous segment of the illegal drug market.
Stupid idiot cops. Don't you wonder why the people hate you when they need you?
